March 23 Newsletter

How are we adapting after Q1...

MARCH NEWSLETTER

As we come to the end of March, we are reflecting on how the first quarter of 2023 has been. We all understand the shift that has happened in the economy over the last three months, including the closing of Silicone Valley Bank! For us, we have noticed strong startups now contemplating fractional and part-time support to extend runway, as well as a real desire for CFO support, to help guide startups through this financial uncertainty.

In reflection of the circumstances, we are excited to be launching our

in April, providing fractional experts to support early-stage tech founders, who could really benefit from executive leadership advice but don't have the cash flow yet, to acquire permanent placements.

However, it wasn't all about survival in March though, as we saw the recognition and celebration of so many incredible women for International Women's Day! We were thrilled to sponsor Female Founders Rise for their first large event and were so inspired, we decided to launch our first all-female

, which you can read more about in this newsletter.

We wish you a prosperous April and Q2!

The Zanda Team

💡For early-stage startups, securing the expertise of top-level executives can be the key to reaching their next milestone. However, for many companies, the cost and commitment of hiring a permanent C-Suite team member can be prohibitive. That's where

(cSaaS) comes in...

🖊️In our most recent blog, you can get the full download on the amazing benefits cSaaS can offer to early-stage startups, how it differentiates to other fractional services and why we decided to launch this new service.

⏱️We officially launch cSaaS on Monday and we can't wait to start working with incredible Founders and C-Suite experts, who are evolving the startup ecosystem. We will send out a whole campaign about C-Suite as a Service next week with more information but if you can't wait till then, get in touch with

Future CFO Announcement

International Women's Day saw us celebrating the women we work with, as well as highlighting the imbalance still apparent in senior leadership teams. But what are we going to do about it?

We can clearly see there is a shortage of female CFOs in the Tech ecosystem and we believe this starts at the Senior Manager / Director level. Equity in education is imperative to elevate those industry leaders to become confident C-Suite experts.

So, for our next Future CFO Cohort, Zanda will be sponsoring 12 women to join our Fast Track

, in partnership with

 🌱

The Future CFO Programme is designed for those in Senior Finance Leader roles looking to transition in to a CFO role in the next 1-3 years, so hopefully with this support we will be nurturing 12 CFOs of the future 🚀

We understand work for women's equity isn't a once-a-year thing, that is why we will continue this support into Q3 and beyond, when we will also launch a Future Female CFO cohort in New York, as well🤩

Our UK-based cohort is now full but if you would like to apply for the NY cohort or Future CFO programme in general, get in touch 👇
